Oakland International Airport (OAK)

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

  • BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit).  From Oakland, take the AirBART (an airport connector) to the Coliseum station, and then take the Richmond line to the Downtown Berkeley station.  From SFO, take the Richmond like to Downtown Berkeley or take the Antioch line and transfer at 19th Street Oakland to the Richmond line.

  • Shuttle Services.  The BayPorter Express has shuttles from SFO and OAK to Berkeley which you can book with 24 hour notice.

Accomodations

They ask that you have a Faculty Club membership number or credit card information available to make reservations.

The Rose Garden Inn is a good combination of reasonable and proximate, about a 15 minute walk from campus. More information available at thir website.

A 10 minute walk from BART and located a block from the UC Berkeley campus.  Ask for the UC Berkeley rate for conference-goers.

A pricier option located right next to the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
